At Lindgren Farms, we take pride in more than just our agricultural endeavors; we are deeply committed to nurturing the community that has supported us for generations. Growing Forward is a transformative community-led agriculture project situated right here on Lindgren Farms in Norquay, Saskatchewan.
Our mission is simple but powerful - to cultivate a better future for our community. We achieve this by directing a portion of our farm's grain proceeds toward funding local initiatives that enhance the lives of Norquay's residents. We have earmarked 80 acres as the Growing Forward field. In collaboration with the local community and supporters, we are creating a sustainable cycle of growth and giving that fosters prosperity for all.
Growing Forward will have a profound and positive impact on our local community. It is directly contributing to funding essential local community initiatives that focus on three primary areas: community improvements to Norquay, education projects, and scholarships. We are excited to offer five $1000 scholarships to the surrounding communities.
Our unique approach fosters a strong sense of belonging and community pride, as Lindgren Farms and our project supporters actively engage in nurturing the very community that means so much to us.
A special thank you to our partners and sponsors for Growing Forward: Bayer, BASF, Clayton Air Service, Prairie Soil Services, Syngenta, FMC, ACE Real Estate, and Pattison Ag. We wouldn’t be able to accomplish what we have without your ongoing support!
Congratulations to Jake Foster from Norquay School and Porter Wolkowski from Canora Composite School.
